| Twelve Years, and Still Growing TogetherThe Skeeter Owners Club was founded in 1996 by a group of bass anglers with a common bond; their love of bass fishing. During the past 12 years the core members of the club has made it one of the most competitive clubs in the Southern Region of the Maryland BASS Federation Nation. It has always been the goal of the members to help each other be the very best anglers we can be. Sharing information with each other has always come natural to us. As a result, we can be proud of the fact that we have some of the best anglers in the Maryland BASS Federation. Our members have won the Southern RSQT Tournament in past years. Our team has taken first place in 2001 and 2003, and second place in 2002. In 2002, we had three members in the race for MBF Angler of the Year. Ed Riley was Angler of the Year, Adam Bajrak came in a very close second (1 point!) and Justin Riley took fifth place. And, Ed Riley, a charter member, took the angler of the year crown 2 years in a row. He won the EDT on Lake Champlain in the fall of 2001, and represented Maryland at the Federation Championship this April, 2002 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. In 2002, we gave our sponsorship to a new youth club. In their first year of existence, the Southern Junior Bassmasters took first place in the MBF and the Eastern Division Outstanding Club Awards. While the Potomac River is our home water, our fishing destinations are diverse. They include Eastern Shore Rivers, Upper Bay, James River, among others. We are looking forward to another incredible year together. Please take your time to browse our site. If you like what you see, and would like more information on how you can be a member of the best club in the MBF, click here, and send me an e-mail. We are now open to all new members, both boaters and non-boaters. Rick LaNore
